NEWS ITEM ADDED 09 OCTOBER 2006
As a result of a thorough assessment visit in August 2006, Bromley Early Years and Childcare Service and Bromley Mencap are pleased to announce that the following four Childminding networks have received Approval under the NCMA Children Come First quality assurance scheme:

 

 

 

Bromley Mencap Network

Bromley Mencap Network Plus

Special Needs Network – Early Years and Childcare Service

Community Network – Early Years and Childcare Service.

  

Approximately 50 childminders belong to the networks and they offer specialist Childminding support for families-in-need in the borough.  A huge ‘thank-you’ is due to all the network childminders for their commitment, hard work and flexibility.  Over the years, they have helped hundreds of children and families throughout the borough.

 

A special thank-you must also go to the network co-ordinators (Gill Eldridge, Carol Harris, Liz Hodgman, Mary Nash and Lynne Pearce), for their hard-work in preparing the networks for Approval and for their continued efforts in maintaining the high standards required by the NCMA Children Come First scheme.
