The Meningitis Trust has produced 10,000 updated copies of its information pack, 'Understanding Meningitis - a Guide for Early Years Professionals'. The guide includes information about the disease and practical guidance so that early years professionals are better prepared to handle a suspected case of meningitis.

The pack also includes details of the support services offered by the Meningitis Trust, including its counselling and home visiting services, one-to-one contacts, and its 24-hour freephone helpline - available on 0800 028 18 28.
