Resource Pack

Welcome to Full of Beans – a food and health resource pack for underfive’s

settings in Bromley. The pack is the result of a thirteen month project,

‘Food and Nutrition in Nurseries and Pre-Schools’, which was funded by

Bromley Joint Planning and Development Fund to offer training and support to

nurseries and pre-schools around food and nutrition.

The pack is for you to use for information, ideas and inspiration when planning

and promoting a healthy, varied diet for the children in your care.

The information in the pack combines published standards and

recommendations with examples of good practice here in Bromley.

The information sheets in the ‘more for parents’ section of the pack can be

freely photocopied and can also be downloaded from Bromley PCT website,
